In this small bronze, Ed Fraughton shows a playful dog chewing on his ball. The happy dog looks a bit like a Greyhound or maybe a hound but we have all seen this posture in our dogs when they have a toy.
Dated 1969 this is one of his earlier works and it is a charming model. The bronze rests on a 3/4 inch thick by 7 inch long piece of burled walnut wood base.
