Joseph Boulton (1896-1981) was best known as an animal sculptor during his long life. He first studied under Herman Atkins MacNeil in NY, and went on to become well known for his sculptures of American animals. This fine large bronze shows two Bison running together, it captures the power and movement of the buffalo as they run. It has a rich dark brown patina and is marked as cast #6.
