This bronze is one of only two self portraits that Charlie Russell sculpted. It shows him riding one of his favorite horses Neenah. Original Russell bronzes are very rare and this is a bronze made from the original model by the Heritage Bronze foundry in the 1970s, it is numbered 5 of 30 cast. It is a high quality piece and has excellent details.
