This fine large model of a Stag Calling was first sculpted in 1829 and was cast exclusively by the Susse Freres foundry. This is one of the larger sizes and is a very powerful and impressive bronze. It has sharp details, you can see all the shaggy fur of the Stag, and it is finished in a rich dark brown patina.
