This is a finely detailed sculpture of a Tiger with his prey. Humphriss shows his ability as a sculptor representing the nature of this powerful big cat. The Tiger has caught a bird which will be his next meal. It is finished in the rich brown patina used by Roman Bronze Works at the turn of the century. This bronze is dated 1905; marked "Roman Bronze Works N.Y." and it is numbered cast #2. A very rare bronze.
